Brightening Up in Finsbury Park: Kitchen Renovation with Sleek Aluminium Frames
We have recently been working on a new renovation in Finsbury, London. The clients wanted a brighter, more open kitchen that connected seamlessly to their garden. They tried to avoid taking on a significant extension but wanted that spacious, open feel.
Working closely with Rebecca from Make My House Home, we focused on glazing to transform their space and installed stunning Picture Windows.
We redesigned the space to include multiple black-framed picture windows at the back of the house. The windows let in plenty of natural light, opened up views of the garden, and created a strong visual connection between indoors and outdoors. They make the kitchen feel bigger, brighter, and more inviting.
In the kids’ play area, we added a 30cm ledge that doubles as a cosy seating area. It’s the perfect spot for their kids to sit, read, or take a break from playing outside, adding a practical yet charming detail to the space.
The Result:
With the new glazing, Tom and Lucy’s kitchen feels open and airy—just like they imagined. They got the look and functionality of an extension without the cost and now have a space perfect for family life.
